Located in front of the historic Santa Fe Depot, Shawnee's Centennial Monument was erected as a part of the statewide celebration of Oklahoma's 100th anniversary of statehood. Each of the four sides of the monument commemorates individuals, businesses, and tribes that called Shawnee home ahead of and at statehood.
