Shawnee High School Memorial Museum

The Shawnee High School Alumni Museum, located inside the district’s administration building at 326 N. Union, is open by appointment. Memorabilia from famous Shawnee natives, including astronaut Gordon Cooper from the Class of 1945 and former Oklahoma Governor Brad Henry (Class of 1981) are among many items on display..

The museum also includes several Shawnee Wolves letter jackets; a 1949 letter sweater; about 40 Caldron yearbooks dating to 1916; trophies from a variety of events; hundreds of pictures from the 1930s to the ’70s; SHS Football Hall of Fame photos; football, basketball and commencement programs; and a few SHS class rings.
